    Ian Porter

    Chief Executive Officer

    CEO and founder of Circle Green, responsible for the running of the business, sales and finance.

     

    Ian is passionate about sustainability through innovation and has seen great success in helping many clients meet and exceed their energy targets in a variety of markets in both public and private sectors, whilst ensuring key stake holders realise a positive impact on their bottom line.

     
    He has extensive working knowledge around energy performance contracting, smart grid technologies, de-centralised generation, carbon legislation, and Data Centre efficiency and understands the challenges that businesses face around meeting their sustainability targets.

     

    Ian is a father of two and enjoys his family time outside of work. He also has a passion for photography, enjoys walking and is a National Trust life member.

     

    Stuart Kirk

    BSC(HONS) MRICS

    Chief Operating Officer

    Stuart is COO of Circle Green and is also vice chair of the Energy Managers Association.

     

    Since 2010, Stuart has been focused on all aspects of energy and carbon management, using his in depth expertise of building services construction and operational maintenance to develop corporate strategies to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions through life cycle analysis.

     

    Previous roles include Head of Energy for Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc, Director of Building Services at Rex Proctor & Partners and Regional Commercial Manager for a Balfour Beatty Company, providing facilities management services to the Royal Mail and BT Estates. Whilst at Morrisons, Stuart engaged with both management and plc board members, developing a carbon reduction strategy to meet their 2020 target and manage, develop and deploy a multi-million pound energy reduction programme across a £6b property estate.

     

    Stuart has expert knowledge of renewable energy deployment, energy efficiency technology and carbon reduction programming, developing and delivering courses for the RICS and informing corporate stakeholders and shareholders. Stuart is a chartered surveyor and an ESOS lead assessor, with a degree in quantity surveying to support the analysis of building services.

     

    Stuart is driven to reduce energy consumption for clients, focusing on removing wasted consumption and driving efficiency into operations. He has a clear belief that obtaining knowledge of the estate, engaging maintenance services, optimising existing assets and challenging operations delivers significant benefits to clients.

     

    Gareth Dauley

    Chief Commercial Officer

    CTO of Circle Green, responsible for sales, technology and innovation.

     

    A dynamic, entrepreneurial strategist with International Smart Grid, Demand Response, MDM (Meter Data Management), (VPP) Virtual Power Plants, IOT (Internet of Things), M2M (Machine to Machine) and Smart Cities experience. Demonstrating success by driving high value growth while providing leadership in highly competitive markets.

    With a passion for energy and the Energy IOT to identify and align clients emerging technology needs with products and services. Excelling in driving growth of company revenues and improving performance.

     

    Keith Hamlyn

    Chairman & Director of Quality

    Fellow of the Chartered Quality Institute with wide practical experience in the design, development and implementation of Quality management systems in the manufacturing and service sectors.
    Chartered Quality professional
    Physicist with extensive experience in the engineering, manufacturing and service sectors. Honours degree in the teaching of physics.

    IRCA Registered Lead QMS Auditor of ISO 9000 Quality systems. IRCA Registered OHSAS Auditor. Ex-Associate Environmental Auditor. Accredited BS11000 Facilitator.
    NEBOSH Qualified for Construction with credit


    Lead Tutor who presented courses in Quality and Environmental Management in seventeen countries around the world.
